Hello & Welcome

I'm Jodi a Wedding and Portrait photographer on the stunning Sunshine Coast - Australia.  Thanks for visiting my journal - this is quite a new project for me - showcase all things new & exciting at Jodi McDonald Photography - recent work, give clients a quick sneek peek,  any specials or promotions, jot down some hopefully interesting bits 'n pieces and keep me on the path. Absolutely love my photography and anything photography related - hopefully it is evident in my work.  Love to capture happy fun people being themselves - if this sounds like you I'm sure we'll hit it off. Please visit my website to view more of my work and extra info.  It is clearly apparent that you can learn more about someone through regular visits to their blog than reading their Bio. Love to read comments and meet new bloggers like myself - don't be shy. Thanks again and come back to see what else I've been up to.

Luke turns 5

My only boy Luke turned 5 yesterday. Very novel Birthday card care of Uncle Scott - to see more of his creative mikoto project visit www.mikoto.com.au
Of course Luke cleaned up re presents and TOYS are all over the house but he is a very happy boy. He insisted on photos of all but this blog is just not big enough.  Luke does not have a massive sweet tooth so when Dad suggested a PIZZA Birthday Cake for the candles he jumped at the idea.  Happy Birthday Luke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lucy Loo - Havaiana Girl

This is little Lucy graduating to Havaianas - too cute. Her gorgeous 'smiley face' shirt from Nana.  Still sucking our fingers and touching our eye-lashes - seems to be very soothing for her. It's a shame we can't bottle Lucy at this age - just divine!

Wedding Industry Networking!!!

A little late with entries.  The Networking Evening was definitely worth the time - caught up with some familiar faces and added some new names to suppliers list.  Not a huge number attended though it did make it easy to ensure you spoke to everyone there.  Hoping for more venues to be present as "Photographers" are usually booked soon after - and often referred by venue/reception.  Will endeavor to touch base with all from the evening within coming week. Nice to socialize as well which leads into the next two posts........my two youngest.

Wedding Industry Networking

I will be attending a Wedding Industry Networking Evening tomorrow night. Besides the glass of champagne and canapes it is a great opportunity to meet up with other suppliers and make some new contacts. Photography studios/businesses are increasing every year so really need to keep your profile out there. Being held at the Caloundra Power Boat Club so a bit of a drive and hence only 1 glass - very wise not to mix too much alcohol with business either. Hopefully I will have a positive report from the night.

Sam and Family

What a great family to photograph!!!!!! Sam the eldest wanted a portrait for Mum's birthday with brother Sean and sister Georgia.  What awesome weather and location - Point Cartwright at Kawana.  Sam's wee ones also got in on the action - too cute. Sunday 13th April 2008

Tahnee & John

What an amazing wedding - Tahnee and John had perfect Sunshine Coast weather on the 12th April.  Tahnee did an incredible job planning and organizing everything from Melbourne. It could not have been better.  Her dress was divine and you could not get the smile off her face all day.  Stunning couple and so easy to photograph - difficult to select just a few images to portray their day.  Honeymoon in Japan for 2 weeks before they can see the rest.  Enjoy!!!!
